MANCHESTER FURNITURE SHOW 2010

CONFIDENCE RUNNING HIGH AS MANCHESTER FURNITURE SHOW SELLS OUT

Confidence is everything for a successful exhibition and Manchester Furniture Show, which runs from the 18th to the 21st July 2010, is once again proving an industry favourite with stand space sales ahead of schedule and the Show now full.  “We are looking at adding extra space again to accommodate all the latest enquiries” comments joint organiser Laraine Janes.

The 2009 Manchester Furniture Show was one of the most successful shows in the last 10 years in terms of both quality of exhibitors and visitors.  Attendance was up on the previous year, with some well known buyers, who had not been for sometime, attending the show again.

Adrian Kelly from Da Vinci Furniture commented: “In all the years I have been exhibiting in Manchester, I can confidently say that the first day of the 2009 show was our busiest ever, and by the end of the show we had more than doubled our previous year’s sales figures, resulting in our very best performance ever at Manchester.”

Laraine Janes adds “In recent years the speed of change in the furniture industry has been the most notable influence on the show, but last year saw a change in the type of new exhibitor we attracted and this subsequently had an influence on the buyers attending.”
